        毛氏紅燒肉'Mao Family’s Braised Pork'

               1958412日,毛主席視察火宮殿,并品嘗了火宮殿的湘菜和小吃,其中就有一道紅燒肉毛主席說:家鄉(xiāng)的紅燒肉,吃噠健腦長壽正是這句平常話使紅燒肉備受世人喜愛。火宮殿的廚師也因勢(shì)利導(dǎo),將紅燒肉做得色澤紅亮、肥而不膩、落口消融,取名為:毛氏紅燒肉。讓這道傳統(tǒng)湘菜融入偉人情懷而更加走紅。


               On 12th April, 1958, Chairman Mao visited Huogongdian and tasted Hunan dishes and snacks here, among which was Braised Pork. Chairman Mao said: “Braised Pork in Hunan is good for brain and helps people live longer.” It is such common words makes braised pork popular. Chefs in Huogongdian improved it to be bright red, fat but not greasy and melt-in-the mouth and named it Mao Family’s Braised Pork, making it more popular because of Chairman Mao.
